Established in 1988 Skipton Financial Services (SFS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Skipton Building Society and part of a growing family of financial services support organisations.

We are whole of market financial advisers, which means we do not charge a consultancy fee but can still recommend products from the whole market place. Our particular specialisms include advising on investments and inheritance tax planning for people of all ages.

We now give professional, impartial advice to over 110,000 clients nationally: from our Yorkshire and Lancashire heartland, up to Scotland and down to the South coast. Because of our outstanding reputation, we are entrusted with placing investments in excess of £4.1 billion.

Due to our expertise in the area of Inheritance Tax planning, we are particularly proud of having been chosen to offer this service to readers of the Daily and Sunday Telegraph. The Telegraph Group chose us above all other providers of IHT planning services in the country, due to our established and proven expertise in this field.

  

In 2008, we secured a second five-year deal with the Daily and Sunday Telegraph to offer an investment service to their readers.
