

OUR VALUES
In May 2009, following consultation with clients as well as staff from right across the business, we announced the four values which capture the essence of what it means to work for Skipton Financial Services (SFS).

How we behave and how we think is driven by both our personal and corporate values and, if everyone at SFS holds similar positive values, then we will succeed in what we set out to do. The values that we hold and exhibit in all our interactions with colleagues and clients dictate how we behave with each other and this leads to the image we project to clients. We believe that all staff adopting these values is integral to the ongoing success of SFS. We all own these values and should feel free to challenge ourselves and our colleagues to ensure we all live them, day-in, day-out.
Our EFOS values have been embedded throughout everything we do at SFS, including performance reviews, inductions, staff briefings and promotional material. The best example of how staff have embraced EFOS is through our peer-to-peer staff recognition awards scheme - the EFOS Awards.
Staff are encouraged to nominate their colleagues - whether based in Head Office or out in the field - for illustrating one of our EFOS values. Each quarter, a judging panel made up of staff review all nominations and select four winners from Head Office - one from each of the values - and four winners from Sales. All quarterly winners go forward to be in the running for either the EFOS Head Office Employee of the Year or EFOS Sales Employee of the Year awards.
