Put simply, a platform reduces your administrative burden and enables you to invest more easily by providing a convenient, consolidated view of your investments. Your relationship with SFS and the companies you invest in do not change as the chosen Fund Managers will continue to manage your underlying funds and your adviser will continue to advise you.
How it works
SFS has teamed up with Cofunds, the UK’s largest independent investment platform who will take over the administration of your investments. There is no change to your investments themselves as your money remains invested in the same funds with the same product providers, the management charges stay the same and your ISAs will retain their tax advantages.
Once you have registered your funds on the platform, you’ll be given online access to your own personal account to enable you to obtain up-to-date valuations, information on fund prices and performance at the touch of a button.
