Skipton Financial Services Limited is a whole of market financial adviser which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
In May 2003, SFS purchased the trading name and certain assets of the Medical Insurance Agency (MIA), specialist financial advisers to the medical and dental profession.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Skipton Building Society, SFS is part of the Skipton Group of companies, which now totals 20 organisations.

The service is completely fee-free (income is derived from commission from the product providers).
