Client feedback sees Skipton Financial Services commended at industry awards

Clients of Skipton Financial Services (SFS) can now feel even more confident that their financial planning is in the safest possible hands. SFS, the whole of market financial advice subsidiary of Skipton Building Society, was shortlisted for a prestigious industry award at the Shares Awards 2008, which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London last week (Tuesday 17 November).
SFS was one of five financial advisers shortlisted in the Best IFA category at the Shares Awards 2009. The Shares Awards have run for a number of years, with many of the industry’s most illustrious names rewarded, and this is the second year in a row that SFS was recognised in this category.
Mark Fleet, managing director at Skipton Financial Services, commented, “Whilst we would have liked to have come away with the award, being shortlisted for the second year running is a massive achievement. The biggest positive we take from this is that, unlike many other industry awards, the voting in the Shares Awards is done by readers of the magazine, including our clients. The fact that they have voted our service as exceeding their expectations again shows how highly they think of us.”
