Skipton FS staff raise £442 for Children in Need

Staff at Skipton Financial Services (SFS), the whole of market financial adviser subsidiary of Skipton Building Society based at The Bailey in Skipton, can feel proud of themselves after their fundraising activities on Friday (20 November) raised £442.23 for Children in Need, almost doubling the amount raised last year.
Activities included a dress-down day, a cake stall and a Children in Need quiz and wordsearch. However, the highlight of the fundraising was two of the bosses – Matthew Leach (Marketing Director, left) and Peter Norris (Head of Operations, right) mucking in to do a sponsored stint on the telephones.
Matthew Cox, communications manager at Skipton Financial Services, commented, “Children in Need is a cause close to the hearts of our staff. Having raised £230 in 2008, for only 150 staff to raise almost £450 is a great achievement. Thanks to everyone who helped out and donated.”
